Local Building Codes - Engineering

Our plans are designed in accordance with The International Building Code in effect at the time of the creation of that plan. The purchaser is responsible to ensure compliance with their local building codes, which may have additional requirements such as; but not limited to; structural, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering. Some locations may require that a registered architect prepare the final construction documents or that an energy study specific to your particular specifications be provided. Local professionals familiar with your local building codes, construction practices, soil conditions, and other requirements are best to handle these services. Any structural work, notes, details, truss designs, beam spans, etc. are to be specified by registered engineers to conform to local building codes.

NOTICE: Plans for homes to be built in Nevada must be re-drawn by a Nevada registered design professional. Consult your local building official for more information on the subject.

Please confirm all your local requirements BEFORE purchasing any design work from our firm, as no refund or exchange is available.
